Anthony George
Deputy Head (Academic)
Anthony is a British national who grew up in Hampshire. After graduating in Physics from Oxford University, he completed a PGCE at King’s College, London, and then taught in the UK state sector for four years. Anthony has always wanted to see the world, and has taught and filled leadership positions in schools in Hong Kong, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and, most recently, in Romania where he is the Director of Academic Studies at the British School of Bucharest. Along the way, he completed an MA in Applied Educational Leadership from University College, London. In his free time, Anthony loves solving cryptic crosswords, reading, travelling and spending time with his family. He is also somewhat obsessed with the noble sport of Rugby Football Union.
