- Exceling in International Physics: BPhO and IPC & SPC Online
In two recent international physics competitions—the 2024 British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) Round 1 and the 2025 Intermediate & Senior Physics Challenge Online (IPC & SPC Online)—our students once again achieved outstanding results, demonstrating remarkable academic prowess and innovative thinking.
In BPhO Round 1, our students earned 1 Global Gold Award, 1 Global Silver Award, 3 Global Bronze I Awards, and 1 Global Bronze II Award. Meanwhile, in the IPC & SPC Online competition, our Intermediate participants secured 2 Global Gold Awards and 3 Global Silver Awards, while our Senior participants claimed 6 Global Gold Awards, 4 Global Silver Awards, and 4 Global Bronze Awards.

Mr Bimlendu Mishra, our Lead Teacher of Physics, has been at the forefront of providing high-quality, personalised guidance to our students. He noted that a solid foundation in physics and critical thinking is key to achieving success. Moreover, targeted training with past papers and the encouragement of collaborative learning have played vital roles in the preparation process.
Mr Mishra emphasised, "We hope that our students can master the subject knowledge, and develop the comprehensive skills needed to meet future challenges through continual exploration and inquiry."
In his view, participating in international competitions such as the BPhO fosters growth beyond the academic realm, instilling in students both the perseverance to overcome obstacles and the courage to broaden their horizons. The competition required them to learn how to manage their time effectively and solve problems efficiently under pressure—experiences that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on their future academic endeavours and societal contributions.

These remarkable achievements fully demonstrate the competitiveness of our students on the international stage. Looking ahead, we remain committed to nurturing our students' academic potential and global perspective, enabling them to showcase their talents and seize opportunities on an even broader platform.
