EiM Worldwise Events

As part of the wider Education in Motion (EIM) and Dulwich community, DHSZ students take part in Worldwise Events, a programme of collaborative learning experiences that bring students, teachers, parents and alumni together across our family of schools. These events combine theory with real-world application, giving students the chance to gather, rehearse, compete and perform alongside peers from Dulwich schools around the globe, and to work directly with world-renowned practitioners and educators who would otherwise be well beyond the reach of a single school. This is one of the clearest advantages of a Dulwich education. Because DHSZ sits within a wider family of schools, our students have access to a scale and range of opportunity that an independent school of our size could not offer alone, from international festivals and leadership conferences to partnerships with organisations such as the Royal Shakespeare Company. Beyond the experiences themselves, these events build lasting friendships and professional networks across the Dulwich community, develop socio-emotional competencies, and help prepare students for life beyond school, all in pursuit of the school's goal to Live Worldwise. 

In the 2026 to 2027 academic year, DHSZ students will participate in the Worldwise Shakespeare Festival, the Worldwise Festival of Music, and the Worldwise Student Leadership Conference, alongside newer additions such as the EiM ANU Planet Hack, the One Voice Summit, and the Worldwise Game Jam. Students will also compete in the High School Team Maths competition and take part in drama and English professional development with the Royal Shakespeare Company, as well as sessions with poet Mark Grist, author Ian Murphy, and the Shackleton Lectures featuring explorer Josh Morris. 

Together, these events give DHSZ students the chance to gather, perform, compete and learn alongside peers from EIM and Dulwich schools around the world, while working directly with leading professionals in their fields.
