Can I add teachers on WeChat to stay in touch with them? 

As per our school's safeguarding policies, teachers cannot connect with students or parents via WeChat or any social media channel. Parents may contact a teacher via their Assistant Head of Year, who will be happy to forward your request to your child's teacher. 

How can I receive updates about my child's progress? 

All parents can access our learning management system called MyDulwich. This is the same system that is used for students to learn about their courses. The syllabus, assessment requirements, key resources and materials, assignments and assessments are set on this platform. Students also submit their work on this platform and receive feedback and marks on their work. Parents are able to access this system and view their child's progress. Also able to see their child's timetable, their attendance record, credits and disappointments, and the list of teachers their child has. 

Can I contact my child's teacher directly? 

Yes, this is possible. On MyDuwlich you will be able to see your child's teachers and their email address. Please note that for our foreign teachers who do not speak Chinese, they may use translation tools to respond to you or ask your Assistant Head of Year to help communicate. You may contact a teacher or your Assistant Head of Year at any time, and during the working week, they will respond to you within 24 hours. 

How do I contact a university counsellor? 

Parents are welcome to raise any questions regarding University Admissions with our counseling office. Students will have designated counselors. The information will be shared with parents so that they know who their designated counselor is. In the Lower School, this may be organized by a tutor group or house. In the Upper School, students will have named counselors who will support students and families through the university application process.
