The performing arts team from Dulwich International High School Suzhou is pleased to invite you to join us to enjoy our annual musical - Shrek the Musical!
On Tuesday 14th December at 7pm in the Zhang Xin Theatre, students from Dulwich International High School Suzhou will take you on a musical journey.
This performance promises to be an exciting, fun and joyful way to enjoy an evening.

The story of Shrek appeared first as a picture book created by William Steig in 1990. The story about a young monster that he dreamed of when he was away from home to see the world became an instant hit and in 2001 American Hollywood directors Andrew Wesson and Alan Warnatch adapted it to same name movie. Eventually multiple sequel moves, rides in theme parks and merchandise made Shrek a household name.
In 2008, the story was adapted into a musical by David Lindsay-Abaire and Jeanine Tesori.
