Tuition and Boarding Fee Payment & Refund Policies

Tuition and Boarding Fee Payment & Refund Policies

For a comprehensive understanding of the tuition and boarding fee payment and refund policies, please refer to the relevant provisions outlined in the Enrolment and Attendance Terms and Conditions, which are jointly signed by the student, parents, or guardians. All such policies are established in strict accordance with the applicable regulations and requirements of the competent authorities.

We kindly draw parents' attention to the following key points:

1. Full Payment & Instalment Plan

Students enrolled at the school are required to pay the full tuition and any other applicable fees. Parents may choose to pay in two instalments per academic year, based on the school's published fee schedule and payment notice. Please note that the definition of "semester" for payment and refund purposes differs from the "term" as used in the school calendar. The specific duration of each "semester" for a given academic year shall be determined by the school's notice for that year. Boarding fees follow the same payment schedule and method as tuition.

2. Late Payment & Consequences

If the school does not receive the full tuition or any other due fees by the payment deadline, a late payment administration fee will be charged. In addition, the student will be temporarily suspended from attending school and will not be eligible to request transcripts, recommendation letters, enrolment certificates, or any other related documents.

3. Refund Application Procedure

Parents or guardians applying for a refund for any reason (including voluntary withdrawal from the school or boarding) must submit a formal written application to the school. If the written refund application is submitted during a school holiday, the school will uniformly consider it as received on the first school day following the holiday.

4. Refund Standards Based on Duration of Enrolment (in accordance with the Jiangsu Province Private Primary and Secondary School Fee Administration Measures)

For students who voluntarily withdraw or transfer, a written withdrawal notice must be submitted to the school 30 days before the start of the semester.

If the withdrawal or transfer occurs in the middle of a semester, the calculation of the student's attendance duration shall be based on the date when the parent formally submits the written application for withdrawal or transfer.

If the student's attendance duration is less than one-third of the corresponding semester's calendar length, the school will refund two-thirds of the semester's tuition and boarding fees. If the student's attendance duration exceeds one-third but is less than one-half of the corresponding semester's calendar length, the school will refund one-half of the semester's tuition and boarding fees. If the student's attendance duration exceeds one-half of the corresponding semester's calendar length, the school will not refund the semester's tuition and boarding fees. The start date of attendance is calculated from the school's first day of instruction (including military training courses and online classes as scheduled in the academic plan), and the student's attendance duration includes periods of online instruction.
