School Uniforms

Why does DHSZ have a uniform?

Our uniform is a source of pride and identity for our students. We ask that all students wear the uniform with pride and follow the appropriate rules and regulations. The uniform is not designed to be a burden for our students. For example, ties are optional in August and September and May and June as we appreciate that the weather may be hot. The uniform and its unique identity also connect us with our sister schools in the Dulwich network and indeed, Dulwich College London.

Students should wear their PE kit for PE lessons. These are housed base so make sure you purchase the correct house PE kit! There will be time for students to change at the start of the PE lessons and then to change back into regular uniform at the end.

When visiting the school for the Dragon’s Induction Day, please review the information about our uniform carefully.

Dragon Induction Day

Prior to the start of school, we will host a Dragon Induction Day for students to try on and pick up new uniforms. Dragon Induction Day for 2025 will take place on the 1st of August.  We encourage all families to take advantage of our Online Uniform Shop for convenient ordering and shipping to your home address.
