- DCSG Invitational Swim Meet
Three swimmers travelled to Dulwich College Singapore (DCSG) last week for the DCSG Invitational Swim Meet, which is an annual event. All swimmers have been training hard and their hard work paid off coming away with 6 medals in total. All competed in the 15 and Over age category. Demi Q received a 1st for 50m Butterfly with a time of 37.93, 3rd for 100m Breaststroke with a time of1.36.42 and 3rd for 50m Breaststroke with a time of 42.25. All were Personal Best (PB) for Demi and new school records. Scott Y also came away with 3 medals, 2nd in 50m Breaststroke with a time of 40.03, 3rd in 50m Freestyle with a time of 29.37 and 3rd in 100m Freestyle with a time of 1.05.50. These were all PB’s for Scott Y and the 50m Breaststroke is a new school record. Jasper C also competed every well gaining a PB’s in all of his races in particular the 100m Freestyle with a time of 1.09.97. The three swimmer also competed in the 200m Mixed Freestyle Reply, having Woody W step in to be the 4th swimmer, and did very well placing 2nd. It was an all-round great effort from the students and they should be very proud of themselves.
