Second Annual International Schools’ Chinese Debating Competition

The aim of Chinese Debate is to help students discuss challenging topics while experiencing the charm of the Chinese language. As a result, they can develop their critical thinking skills and form an awareness of teamwork. Thus, they can understand the world better. On Nov 4th, 2017, the Chinese Debate ECA from Dulwich International (Suzhou) High School took part in the Second Annual International Schools’ Chinese Debating Competition which was held at Dulwich College, Beijing. This competition attracted 40 teams from 19 schools across China. After fierce competition, 3 teams won places in the Tournament. Our School won the second place. In addition, Demon J of Year 11 was awarded Outstanding Individual Debater and Alaric H of Year 11 and Cecilia L of Year 12 were awarded the Best Debater. Dulwich Suzhou was also awarded Outstanding Team.
