Meiling Tsang graduated from the University of Keele with a combined BSocSci degree in Economics and Geography. She completed her PGCE course at the University of Durham and her MEd in Educational Administration and Management at the University of Hong Kong. Her career first started at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Boys’ School in Barnet as a teacher of Geography. She moved to Hong Kong to take up the post of Deputy Head and later Head of Geography at Sha Tin College. With the move to the German Swiss International School, she took on the role as the Community Involvement Coordinator and a change of career from Geographer to Economists. Returning to Sha Tin College she became a full-time Economics Teacher and took charge of the Bronze HKAYP Award for Young People. Nexus International School in Malaysia helped her to explore Economics in more depth, but still have the opportunity to develop her role in the Duke of Edinburgh Award. Meiling loves hiking, running, sailing, diving and discussing current issues.
