S.M Atterton is an Australian, who has worked and lived in the USA and China. She attended the Australian College of Physical Education and completed her Dip.Ed PE, subsequently recruited by Mr David Hemery (UK 400H Olympic Champion) to join the Boston University Track Team and to work with Professor John Cheffers in the School of Education.  At BU, she gained a Bsc. in Human Movement and continued study at USYD where she graduated MA. Ed Psych. She is currently completing her Diploma in Counselling. Stacey’s teaching career spans 34 years at primary – tertiary, both public and private institutions. Stacey has 4 sons all living in Australia and enjoyed a long association with The King’s School, Sydney as Day Housemaster, Boarding master, MIC XC, Community Service Coordinator, ANZAC Day Director, Track and Field Head Coach – Fitness and Rehabilitation. For the past 5 years Stacey has been working in Beijing, China at Keystone Academy as Head of the Physical Education department and Hui Jia International School, Changping as the IB PHE curriculum consultant. Stacey in joined at DHSZ with her partner Mr George Baxter.
