Graham Able was The Master of Dulwich College from 1998 to 2009 and led the College’s overseas development. A Cambridge graduate in Natural Sciences, Mr Able was Chairman of the HMC in 2003 and from 2006 to 2009, President of the International Boys’ Schools Coalition. He was on the Edexcel Foundation Council from 1998 to 2006, the Council of Imperial College from 1999 to 2006, and the Council of Roedean School from 2000 to 2009. His love of cricket is epitomised by his membership of the MCC and his appointment in 2008 as a trustee of The Cricket Foundation, which promotes cricket in maintained schools through Chance to Shine. After 40 years in independent schools, he retired as The Master of Dulwich in 2009, and became an advisor to DCI.
