We Are Proud to Be an EARCOS Member

On 26th November we were very pleased to welcome Dr. Dick Krajczar, the Executive Director of The East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS), to our school.  EARCOS is an organization of over 165 prestigious international schools in East Asia. These schools have a total of more than 130,000 students and 16,000 teachers and administrators.  EARCOS has been in existence for fifty years and supports schools in areas such as the broadening of educational programmes and professional growth and welfare.

Dr Krajczar has been involved in International Education for over forty years and offered very positive and inspiring comments during his visit. From observing the attitudes and outlook of students arriving in the morning, a tour of our school with Rowena and Sam, our Head Girl and Boy, and conversations with a full range of staff and students, Dr Krajczar was very impressed with what we are achieving in Dulwich. He particularly highlighted the breadth of our Co-Curricular programmes, the international focus of our curriculum in educating the whole child, and the diversity and commitment amongst our faculty, who come from 17 different countries across six continents.

We have previously been involved with EARCOS events, such as their College Counselling conference, which allows us to support college applications by building relationships with a wide range of Universities and Colleges. We are now pleased to be full members of EARCOS which, alongside our AI and Middle States Accreditation, provide external verification of our commitment to high quality education and support of each and every student in our school.
