Tony Qureshi
English Teacher, Head of EAL
Anthony is from the UK. He graduated with an BSc. Honors degree in Geology and Sports Science from Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education. Since then he has gone on to complete his PGCE from the University of Nottingham, a Master’s Degree in Linguistics, TESOL, and has gained an Advanced Diploma in Special Education Needs. Anthony has considerable EAL teaching experience in Asia, having taught in South Korea, Japan, and Malaysia. He joins DHSZ, having spent 5 successful years at Nexus International School in Malaysia, where he led several EAL PLC teaching groups, and guided learners through the IGCSE ESL, and IBDP English B programs. He is passionate about outdoor activities, and coordinated the Duke of Edinburgh Program during his time with Nexus. An avid reader, and lifelong learner, Anthony enjoys playing all sports, traveling, watching the latest movies, and spending quality time with his family. Anthony’s door is always open for any of you who wish to drop by.
