Carl Binstead
Art Teacher, Head of Art
Carl originates from the UK where he graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA(hons) in Three-Dimensional Design. After some time as a freelance Artist and Designer, Carl gained a PGCE in Art and Design from St. Martins. He is currently working on an Art and Design terminology book for Chinese/international Art students. Carl has been teaching Art and Design in China since 2006, mostly as Head of Department or Director of Arts. In his free time, Carl enjoys swimming and cycling, he continues to have great interest in the Arts developing a series of abstract works over several years and recently designing domestic contemporary furniture for his own use.
