Charles William Ross
English Teacher
Charlie is an American hailing from the state of Michigan. He graduated with a BA in English (Writing) and Classical Civilizations from DePauw University and an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. Additionally, he has a CELTA and holds teaching licenses from Washington D.C. for ESL and English. Before joining us in Suzhou, he lived and taught in Vietnam for 7 years and spent the previous three years teaching ESL and Global Perspectives in Cambridge international schools. In his free time, Charlie enjoys discovering new restaurants, trying different cuisines, traveling, cooking, reading a wide range of things, watching film and TV, and spending time with his wife and dog. He is very excited to explore China and experience all that it has to offer, especially the food!
