Isaiah Koh
Music Teacher, Head of Music
Isaiah is a Singapore national. He graduated with a BMus in Composition from Taylor University (USA), a MA in the Kodaly Music Pedagogy from the Kodaly Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and a GCE from the University of Melbourne. He is currently completing a Master in International Education. Having previously taught 4 years in the US and 10 years in Singapore, where he was the IBCP coordinator for 4 years, he arrived in China in August 2018 teaching first at OCAC Wuxi, where he was the DP coordinator, and now at the Perse School Suzhou, where he is the Head of Music and PSHEE. Isaiah enjoys being musically active outside of the classroom and is currently the resident conductor for the Voice of Suzhou Children’s Choir, which began October 2022. His hobbies include running outdoors when the weather is nice, attending concerts, and traveling in the pre-pandemic days.
