Philip Wangila
Economics Teacher
Philip graduated with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University and most recently a PGCE from the University of Sunderland. He started his teaching career back in Kenya where he taught in a number of schools offering the CAIE as well as the IB Diploma curriculum. Subjects taught include economics, business studies and geography. He has been teaching economics in China for the last six and a half years at Jinling High School A-Level Centre, with a focus on the CAIE curriculum at IGCSE, AS and A Level. In addition, he is also an active assistant examiner for the IB Diploma program (Business Management) and CAIE Economics (9708/2_series and 9708/4_series). In his free time, he enjoys cycling, playing basketball, listening to music, learning the bass guitar and spending time with his family.
