Zadkiel Elder
Economics Teacher
Zadkiel is from California, USA, where he earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Education from the University of California, Riverside. He also holds a Master of Arts in Economics from San Diego State University. Additionally, he earned teaching credentials from the University of West Florida and the University of Sunderland in London. In 2021, he completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Indiana University East.
After working as an intern economist with the U.S. Department of Labor, Zadkiel transitioned to teaching in Asia, where he discovered his passion for the classroom. He first taught economics in Kazakhstan, where he met his wife, also an educator. For the past ten years, Zadkiel has lived and taught in China while helping to raise his 9 year old daughter.
Zadkiel is dedicated to delivering student-centered lessons that encourage curiosity and critical thinking. His goal is to inspire lifelong learners who embrace the challenge of exploring new ideas and deepening their understanding.
