DHSZ Sailing High At the Pearson Awards 2024
The 'Outstanding Pearson School Awards 2024' ceremony in Harbin was a remarkable event that celebrated academic excellence and the dedication of students, educators, and schools in China. Held at the prestigious Shangri-La Songbei hotel, the event brought together top-performing students across the country and celebrated the academic success of individual schools.

Three students from the school also achieved individual awards for securing the highest outcomes both in China and the wider Asia region:
Jessie R：Highest Mark in China in IGCSE Economics,
Hank W：Highest Mark in Asia for Graphic Communication
Ellie Y：The best artwork in the 2025 Pearson Edexcel Calendar Artworks Design Competition.
Louise Martin, Deputy Head for Academics, had the privilege of attending the conference and collecting the awards on behalf of the school and described the conference as “a grand celebration of achievement across the curriculum.”

Inspiring Speeches: The ceremony featured inspiring speeches including those from Pearson’s Vice Principal for curriculum – Emma Whale – and educational leaders who emphasized the importance of perseverance, hard work, and the pursuit of knowledge.
