Our Boarding programme is an integral part of DHSZ as a large number of our students are weekly or termly boarders. We are honoured that our families trust us with the care of their children, and we take this responsibility very seriously.

Living in boarding is a powerful way for our students to learn independence and responsibility. The boarding houses are not just a place where students spend the night, these are vibrant communities where all staff and students have a responsibility to contribute towards the whole community's growth and development.

We set high standards and expectations for our boarding students, and they must follow all the rules and norms. There is no tolerance for poor behaviour. Much support is also available to help our students and you can read more about this below.

For our termly boarders we will also offer activities on Saturdays to help build the boarding family and offer an opportunity for students and staff to socialise outside school. These may be once or twice a month. This will be organised events and we will inform relevant parents well in advance. All termly boarders must attend.

Several of our graduates have told us that living in boarding helped prepare them for living independently overseas. If you are interested in our boarding programme for your child, please contact the admissions office.
