DHSZ Summer Camp 2025

As the golden sunlight of July bathed our campus, the first session of Taste of Dulwich Summer Camp drew to a meaningful close. For two enriching weeks, students stepped into a world of possibility, one where language meets creativity, where science sparks wonder, and where every challenge becomes a chance to grow.

This wasn’t just a summer camp.

It was a launchpad for confidence, creativity, and curiosity.

Maths Adventures

In the logic and problem-solving sessions, students didn’t just crunch numbers, they explored patterns, built geometric models, and unlocked the “aha!” moments that make learning magical. Maths became more than equations—it became a lens to see the world.

Science Lab Explorations

Wearing lab coats and goggles, students conducted hands-on experiments, observed chemical reactions, and recorded real data. Science transformed from textbook theory into tangible, touchable, thrilling discovery.

Creative Arts

Clay in their hands and colors on their palette, students expressed their inner worlds through sculpture and painting. Each piece told a story—of emotions, of imagination, of how they see and shape the world around them.

English Language Immersion

From interactive storytelling to persuasive writing, students were immersed in an English-speaking environment that built not just vocabulary, but confidence and critical thinking. #Beyondthe Classroom  - Fun, Friends, and New Experiences

SBS AI Field Trip

Stepping out of the classroom to encounter the real artificial intelligence systems in SBS. Intelligent robots, image recognition, voice interaction... These once-distant technological terms became tangible and understandable through hands-on demonstrations and real-life applications. Technology is not out of reach; in fact, the future is quietly unfolding beneath their very feet: composing music or creating art like true digital artists; stepping into a professional broadcast studio to try their hand as news anchors; and ascending to the 50th floor of the tower to take in a view of Suzhou Industrial Park from above, picturing the future paths ahead.

English Movie Night

With popcorn in hand and stars in their eyes, students explored language and culture through film. Post-movie reflections became a lively platform for opinions and ideas in English.

Tie-Dye DIY

Each fold, dip, and dye was an act of patience and creativity. The final result? Unique, wearable works of art that captured the spirit of summer.

More Than a Camp—A Beginning

Each morning was a fresh start. Each evening, a reflection of growth. In just two weeks, students blossomed from shy into confident creators, bold thinkers, and expressive individuals. And while the camp has ended, something far more lasting has begun.

A seed has been planted—inspiration for a subject, a new dream, a sense of belonging, or the quiet confidence to take on the world. Because real education isn’t just about knowledge—it’s about transformation. And this summer, transformation took root.
