Parent Presentation Day
On 25th August, Dulwich International High School Suzhou hosted a parent presentation day for the new semester. Getting the year off to a good start with well-informed families is key to a successful year and a good beginning is half the success. This parent meeting welcomed more than 1600 parents and students. New parents especially need to know what their children will get out of the school and have a means to express their concerns to the school. For parents of returning students, they need to understand Dulwich campus culture more deeply and give their advice and suggestions. As well as witness first hand that the school continues to improve and implement the values of putting students first.
In the afternoon when the parent meeting came to an end, we heard positive feedback from some parents: the new parents felt that the school attached importance to the students and spoke highly of how the school communicates. The parents of returning students reported that they had seen a marked improvement in student-teacher relationships. We hope that through effective communication, that both parents and our school can work together to help students to Grow in Dulwich, Thrive in Life!
