Decorate your Covid-19 Face Mask Competition!

In order to help members of the Dulwich International High School Suzhou community maintain a positive attitude and inspire everyone's competitive spirit, the school's House System Coordinator Alison Crozier and Lifeskills teacher Stacey Atterton recently launched a "Decorate My Mask" competition. The competition was designed to help our students cope with the current situation and make the most of the challenges that isolation can bring. The Decorate My Mask competition gave our students the opportunity to have some fun, while still being able to contribute to their house points total. Competition entries were submitted digitally to the Lifeskills Class Group for judging. The masks they designed were then assessed based on the following criteria:

Marking Criteria

  • 5 points for originality
  • 5 points for execution (The quality of the work)

House Points

  • 1st Place Boys and Girls 20pts
  • 2nd Place Boys and Girls 15pts
  • 3rd Place Boys and Girls 10pts
  • Staff Extra! 5 pts for the best staff mask.

After the competition was announced within our community, teachers and students actively participated and submitted a lot of creative and positive works, which expressed their positive attitude during the epidemic. Here are some masks submitted:
